4. (OR) Multiple Words

Adding OR between words will return results with either of those words.

For example: Tom & Jerry Will return results including either sports team.

5. (...) Number Range

Add ... between numbers in your search to include results with any number in between those two numbers.

Example: 1922... 1932 flood will return results about floods in any year between 1922 and 1932.

6.(Site:) Type of Site

Adding site: to your search allows you to search only certain types of websites.

Example: Evaluation site: edu will return results found only on sites ending in .edu.

7.(.PDF) File Extension

Adding a file extension to your search will return links to files of the same kind.

For Example: Global warming. ppt will return links to PowerPoint presentations about global. 

8. (NEWS) Result Category

Don't forget to narrow your search by type of result.
